Responsibilities
* The postholder will own and manage high-value strategic partnerships across the UK healthcare ecosystem.
* Full accountability for customer relationships and the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including bid, negotiation, mobilisation, delivery and billing.
* Ensure operational excellence across all service lines.
* Drive financial performance, service quality and customer satisfaction; hold P&L responsibility and work with HR for workforce planning and scheduling.
* Develop and own go-to-market strategy.
* Develop and scale operating model.
* Build and maintain a strong external profile in healthcare, occupational health vaccinations, primary care and insurance sectors.
* Cultivate senior-level relationships across commissioners, insurers and clinical networks.
* Represent the organisation at industry events and strategic forums.
* Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, influencing service design, innovation and commercial strategy.
* Lead contract negotiations, renewals and service expansions to maximise value.
* Manage the full contract lifecycle from bid development through delivery, performance monitoring and billing.
* Identify commercial opportunities and maintain a pipeline.
* Ensure appropriate staffing levels, oversee scheduling, resource allocation and service delivery to meet contractual KPIs.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality and customer satisfaction.
* Develop, maintain and optimise networks to support scalable delivery.
* Ensure all network partners meet required standards, contractual obligations and performance expectations.
* Oversee delivery of workplace vaccination programmes.
* Ensure clinical pathways are safe, efficient and aligned with regulatory best-practice standards.
* Collaborate with clinical director to ensure high-quality patient care and robust clinical governance.
* Build and maintain a strong external profile in occupational health corporate settings.
* Engage senior stakeholders to shape service design, innovation and long-term partnership strategy.
* Ensure all services operate in line with regulatory, clinical and contractual requirements.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks across operational, financial and partnership domains.
* Maintain robust reporting, performance dashboards and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
* Degree educated, postgraduate desirable.
* Proven experience in partnership management, operations and service delivery.
* Existing network of corporate clients, insurance and occupational health contacts.
* Experience managing full contract lifecycle and customer relationships.
* Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
* Experience working with HR and operational teams to deliver large-scale programmes.
* Proven track record of strategic business development in the sector.
* Track record in operational improvement, change management and operational efficiency.
* Track record of leading and managing projects.
* Workforce management planning and critical thinking.
* Budget control, business development and revenue generation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
