An established international engineering organisationis recruitingan experiencedSenior HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)to join its HR team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
This is a hands-on generalist role supporting managers and employees across two locations during a period of change. Working closely with a senior HR colleague, youll provide practical, compliant HR advice while helping to align HR processes and ways of working.
Key responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor include:
Providing first-line HR advice on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinaries and grievances
Supporting and maintaining HR policies in line with UK employment law and best practice
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data within the HR system
Producing reports and insights to support HR and business decision-making
Supporting HR projects, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements of the Senior HR Advisor:
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
Proven experience managing employee relations cases
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
