Manufacturing Operator - NIGHT SHIFT
Location: Perth
Pay: £15.18 per hour (weekly pay)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 20:30-07:00 (40 hours per week)
Manpower is delighted to be recruiting Manufacturing Operators on behalf of our client in Perth. This is a night-shift position within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and consistency in their weekly schedule.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a key role in the production process. You'll follow SOPs, operate and monitor equipment, handle materials, and package finished products while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Follow SOPs and accurately complete all production paperwork
2. Prepare materials and equipment for each job
3. Operate and monitor production lines and conveyors
4. Inspect materials and finished goods for quality
5. Fill, weigh, seal, and label containers
6. Pack finished products and complete line clearance
7. Clean and sanitise work areas and equipment
8. Adhere to GMP, ISO, cleanroom, and safety requirements
Requirements
9. Secondary education or equivalent
10. Previous manufacturing or laboratory experience (preferred)
11. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
12. Strong teamwork and communication skills
13. Basic computer skills (advantageous)
14. Ability to wear full PPE (cleanroom suit, mask, gloves, safety boots, eye protection)
15. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying out manual tasks
Desirable Skills
16. Manufacturing experience (strong advantage)
17. Cleanroom experience (advantage)
