Hours: Full-Time | On-Site | 40 hours per week | Varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, bank and public holidays)
Salary: £29,255.20 – £32,115.20 per year (depending on number of sleep-in shifts)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Residential Care Worker to join our team in Ramsgate. In this role, you will work as part of a dedicated care team, ensuring safe and supportive childcare practices are maintained at all times.
You will play an important role in creating a nurturing environment where young people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Our focus is on promoting independence, building essential life skills, and preparing young people for independent living.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a safe, warm, and supportive environment for residents
* Supporting the implementation of care plans and maintaining accurate records
* Assisting with reports and contributing to the progress of each young person
* Encouraging empowerment, independence, and positive choices
About You
We are looking for someone who is caring, resilient, and committed to making a difference in young people's lives. To be successful in this role, you should:
* Hold (or be willing to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Residential Care – an Ofsted requirement
* Have experience working with children and young people
* Be committed to providing outstanding, person-centred care
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS Certificate
