The Location!
HQ Aparthotel Farnborough is centrally located in Farnborough Town Centre, offering 72 studio and one-bedroom apartments for short or long-term stays. It’s close to Legoland, Ascot Racecourse, and other attractions.
Farnborough hosts Farnborough International Airport, a hub for private aircraft, and the Farnborough Exhibition Centre, which hosts various events throughout the year.
The area is home to major companies, and there’s a fast train to Central London in 38 minutes.
The Role!
This role contributes to Cycas Hospitality’s vision, goals, and values, focusing on maximizing revenue and performance across the property.
The Sales Manager collaborates with the Hotel Manager to develop sales strategies targeting key market segments, supporting revenue goals.
The Sales Manager will work towards sales targets, network with corporate clients, TMCs, extended stay agents, local associations, and networking groups. They will observe market trends and monitor competitors.
They will also manage key accounts and oversee contracted accounts across various segments, aiming to maximize sales activities and foster a sales-driven culture on site.
Key Relationships: Hotel HODs, Brand team, hotel staff, area groups, corporate clients, travel agencies, extended stay and relocation agencies, key account managers and directors, competitors.

* Proven sales experience within the UK.
* Understanding of sales within a branded environment.
* Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Analytical mindset with innovative thinking.
* Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and develop teams.
* Effective presentation skills.
* Self-confident, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
* Adaptability to changing market conditions.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to coach sales techniques to the team.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills.
* Front office experience.
* Knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Mews) is desirable.
