Band 3 Nursing Assistant for the Neuro Psychiatry inpatient service on Ward 2, Walkergate Park.
Responsibilities
* Provide caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic support to individuals with neurological conditions or brain injury.
* Work flexible shifts, rotating across a 24‑hour period.
* Maintain a secure, structured, low‑stimulation environment suitable for patients who exhibit challenging behaviour.
* Demonstrate a patient‑centred approach, with excellent communication skills and empathy.
* Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers, working collaboratively to deliver efficient, effective, safe and caring services.
* Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, appraisal and development reviews.
* Engage in comprehensive induction and additional training opportunities.

* Passion for improving the lives of people with neurological or brain‑injury conditions.
* Flexible, adaptive, and reliable with strong communication abilities.
* Interest in working within Neuro Psychiatry presented as a challenging yet rewarding environment.
