As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the commercial success of this high-profile project, ensuring value, quality, and robust commercial governance throughout every stage.
What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial & Contract Management
1. Confidently administer NEC3 Option C contracts
2. Prepare and manage Early Warnings, CENs, and key commercial communications
3. Analyse project costs to support timely monthly Applications for Payment
4. Support the resolution of contractual matters and maintain clear documentation
Measurement, Estimating & Procurement
5. Measure and value work independently
6. Build estimates from first principles
7. Prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates
8. Assist with procurement documentation and supply chain engagement
Project Controls & Planning
9. Work closely with weekly and monthly construction programmes
10. Understand delay and disruption impacts
11. Use ERP systems for cost, value, and project data management
Collaboration & Development
12. Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors
13. Maintain your own development plan while supporting junior colleagues
What You’ll Bring
14. BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
15. Great communication and teamwork skills
16. A proactive, results-focused mindset
17. Prior commercial experience
18. Broader industry awareness—marine or large-scale infrastructure experience is a plus
