Senior Care Assistant - Carer in Residential Care Home - Whitby
We are looking for experienced, capable, friendly carers to work in a beautiful setting, part of a family-run group of care homes. This modern, vibrant care home offers great facilities and a supportive team environment.
Starting rate is £12.80ph plus holiday benefits. We provide a supportive environment with excellent learning and development opportunities. Shifts are days, from 8am to 8pm, with options for part-time or full-time contracts.

Care experience or social care qualifications are desirable, especially experience working with the elderly. A good level of English is required, along with comfort in providing personal care. Care Assistant Responsibilities
1. Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance their wellbeing.
2. Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
3. Support service users in maintaining relationships with the local community.
4. Follow care plans and other information about supporting service users.
5. Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in service users' needs.
6. Promote and safeguard the welfare of those supported.
7. Develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the service.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize opportunities for service users.
9. If desired, maintain and develop relationships with residents’ family and friends.
