Due to continual growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team in Ripley to work on our ever-growing fleet of LGV’s.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.Collaborate with the fleet compliance team to schedule and prioritise work.Working with the parts departments to make sure correct parts are ordered.Requirements:Needs to be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.Good attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.Experience:A minimum of Level 2 in motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (required).A proven track record in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferred but not essential).Licence/Certification:Full driving licence and own tools.Job Types:Full time, permanent.Schedule:Monday to FridayOccasional SaturdaysExpected Hours:No less than 40 per weekBenefits:Competitive payOvertime OpportunitiesGovernment Company Pension28 days holiday (including bank holidays)UniformTraining – if neededWork Location:Head Office, RipleyJob Reference upon enquiry:LGV Fleet Technician
