Job Description
Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Valeo Foods UK, a manufacturer of some of the UK’s best loved snacks and confectionery, is looking for a new member of the Nights team!
Please note the working hours of this role will rotate between 2 shifts covering 6.30pm to 7am (Sunday to Thursday)
What You'll Be Doing
* The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
* Prioritisation of repair work
* Planning and Monitoring machine performance
* Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
* Monitoring failure
* Supporting External Contractors
* Technical support for production when required
* To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policy.
* To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.
Key Areas Of The Role
* Carrying out of the engineering activities.
* Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates.
* Minimizing engineering downtime.
* Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department.
* Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team.
* Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times· Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level.
Qualifications
About you:
* Relevant engineering qualification
* Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry
* Experience of FMCG operations
* PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
* Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.

* Willing and able to work both independently and as part of a close team.
Additional Information
Salary: £50.918.40
Hours: Rotating shifts Sunday-Thursday 18.40-03.00 and 22.40 - 07.00
