SLLC 2260 - Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) at South Lanarkshire Council
Location: Carluke Leisure Centre, 135 Carnwath Road, Carluke
Hours: 19.25 hours per week (2 week rota)
Salary Band: £13.64 - £13.79 per hour
Week 1: Monday 3pm – 10:30pm, Wednesday 1pm – 6:30pm, Friday 6:30pm – 10:30pm
Week 2: Monday 2pm – 10:30pm, Thursday 8am – 3pm, Friday 8am – 2pm
Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2026
Responsibilities
* Supervision of pool activities
* Carry out cleaning to meet defined standards
* Ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
Requirements
* A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential
* A first aid certificate and previous experience are desirable
