We are a team of cyber risk professionals working within the wider Deloitte Technology and Transformation practice, helping our clients to manage cyber risk securely through conducting capability baselines, shaping and delivering projects and programmes, defining operating models, and documenting future state capabilities with associated roadmaps.
We are seeking skilled and experienced cyber risk professionals to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cyber risk change delivery, including conducting baselines, shaping and delivery projects and programmes, and defining roadmaps, as well as an extensive network of cyber and technology professionals across financial services organisations, and experience with commercial proposals. Our projects vary greatly and your responsibility will differ based on the focus of a specific client engagement or proposal, but your role is likely to include:
Client relationship development and networking, including both building on existing relationships and developing new relationships within or outside of client engagements
Producing materials for client and internal purpose, e.g. eminence activities, go to market plans, client proposals, client deliverables, executive presentations
Working with alliance partnerships to create a pipeline of work, and deliver against that pipeline
Leading proposals for client work and driving the sale through to completion including contracting and risk management
Leading client engagements for financial services clients, often balancing multiple projects at once alongside side of desk activity
Providing subject matter expertise across a variety of cyber domains; the ideal candidate will have deep expertise in 2-3 cyber domains (e.g. Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, Technology Resilience, Datacentre Operations, Strategy and Transformation)
Delivering projects in complex and time-pressured circumstances, adhering to standard project management approaches

Connect to your skills and professional experience
Successful applicants typically have a degree or equivalent experience, with real world experience working in cyber security. They are agile thinkers capable of helping stakeholders manage a range of security challenges.
Key skills – not every candidate requires all of these but should be familiar and/or have experience with a majority of these:
Building strong client relationships, in particularly within engagement delivery, and the ability to grow and build client relationships outside of delivery
Long standing cyber and financial services industry experience with a solid knowledge of cyber across financial services and network of relationships across clients
Solid capability to produce client friendly materials, presenting complex ideas simply and professionally across a range of artefacts from proposals to solution documentation
Ability to understand client problems and issues and develop a proposal for how we can support
Commercial capability to develop proposals, produce cost estimates, propose compelling commercial offers and present well to clients
Strong project management skills and experience, particularly the ability to drive activity in complex environments and under time pressure
Solution delivery experience in 2-3 security domains, e.g. identity, data security, security operations, networks, technology resilience, strategy and transformation
Ability to navigate difficult, complex, and unfamiliar client processes in addition to other commitments
Experience having delivered cyber projects at a range of FS clients, or deeper experience at a client or FS sub-sector
Qualifications:
Cyber certifications, such as cloud service provide certificates (AWS, Azure or Google), and other relevant certifications (UK CSC, CIISec, SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, etc) are preferable.
Certifications in project management or related domains (e.g. PRINCE2, ITIL, COBIT5).

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
