About the role Enerven have secured a number of large projects that has opened up an opportunity to expand our experienced team of telecommunication technicians, so are now looking for 2 more people on a 24-month contract to join the team. In this role you will also be exposed to a wide variety of other projects, for example, constructing and maintaining SA Power Networks telecommunications network across South Australia along with building and maintaining 3rd party client networks mainly in South Australia but also in interstate locations. Our customers include SA Power Networks, ElectraNet, Transgrid, ISP’s, national network carriers and NBN to mention a few. Day to day you will be: Splicing and testing of various fibre networks Working on BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) OPGW fibre works Will require occasion travel to South Australia to aid project works About you If you have experience building telecommunication infrastructure networks with a working knowledge and can demonstrate capability of optical fibre cable installation, splicing and testing including data cabling and specifically OPGW Fibre then these positions would be of interest to you. Applicants must hold a current drivers licence and a demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
