Cardiac Physiologist

Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in theCardiology department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
* Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
* Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
* Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines.
* Prepare and issue timely, high-quality clinical reports for use by referring clinicians.
* Report faults promptly and take part in equipment procurement and upgrades where needed.
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
* Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
* A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
