We are looking for a Charity Fundraising Executive to join the Cash for Kids team in Glasgow.
In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of our charity's operations, playing a key part in shaping our day-to-day success. As a vital member of our team, you will coordinate a wide array of activities, ensuring the smooth execution of our mission. Your responsibilities will span from overseeing the granting processes to managing essential administrative and financial tasks, each fundamental to our operations.
You will also provide crucial fundraising support, assisting the wider team in developing and implementing innovative campaigns and organizing inspiring events. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only enhance your skills in multiple areas of charity management but also to directly contribute to the growth and impact of our initiatives.
Our Team
We are a small team of 8 covering Glasgow & the West of Scotland. Cash for Kids is the umbrella charity of Bauer Media covering the TSA`s of Radio Clyde, West FM (Ayrshire) and GHR Dumfries & Galloway. We raise funds to support the 1 in 4 children in our local communities who are affected by poverty.
Key Responsibilities
1. You will provide first-class supporter care dealing with daily enquires through all channels including phone, email, social media and LinkedIn
2. Supporting the Charity Manager and Senior Charity Fundraising Executive with all fundraising administration tasks as well as being a representative at cheque presentations and etc
3. Assisting in the planning and implementation of granting rounds, events and campaigns. This will include operational tasks such as co-ordinating materials, cash reconciliation, banking etc.
4. Liaising with presenters/station staff to ensure the smooth delivery of on-air Cash for Kids activities and campaigns including Cash for Kids Day and Mission Christmas.
5. Developing the existing volunteer base by recruiting, retaining and supporting volunteers for events and campaigns.
6. Keeping abreast of developments in administrative and financial systems and procedures.
7. Attendance at events and overall event administration including preparing donation collection envelopes, gift aid forms, auction and raffle prize lists, guest place settings, and table plans etc.

11. Have the flexibility to work evenings/weekend when required
12. Have organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
13. Have effective planning skills for events/campaigns
14. Have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel etc.
15. Have a solid knowledge of all modern social networking tools and a broad knowledge of the most commonly used internet platforms
16. Be a team player – to develop a good working relationship with the charity team, wider radio station teams and national charity team
17. Be the holder of a current, full UK Driving Licence
