We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to ad-hoc and reactive callouts across our estate of 108 sites and our central processing unit (CPU). This role requires a high level of technical expertise, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintenance and fault resolution.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration systems across all sites
* Attend reactive, breakdown, and emergency callouts in a timely manner
* Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and industry regulations
* Maintain accurate service records and maintenance reports
* Liaise with site teams, the Facilities Manager, and Operations Director as required
* Support continuous improvement of refrigeration and facilities standards across the estate
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer is essential
* Relevant refrigeration qualifications and certifications (e.g. NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
* F-Gas certification (essential)
* Experience working across multiple sites is desirable
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Full UK driving licence preferred
