About this Role
Beacon Academy is seeking a dedicated Teacher of IT to join a strong, committed teaching team. The post involves teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students in a brand new building with up-to-date facilities from October half term. This is a permanent post and may suit either an experienced practitioner or a teacher new to the profession. There will be opportunities for involvement in initiatives to develop teaching and pastoral support over the next two years.

We offer a supportive induction and CPD programme, and the post may be of interest to an ECT or an experienced teacher seeking progression. The academy is introducing a coaching group approach for staff and students from September.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality IT teaching to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and build strong relationships with students.
* Engage in school initiatives to develop teaching practices and pastoral support.
* Participate in the academy’s induction and CPD programmes.
* Collaborate with staff to contribute to a coaching group approach for staff and students.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher of IT with the ability to teach across KS3 & KS4.
* Enthusiastic, dedicated, and capable of adapting to a developing school environment.
* Commitment to inclusion and meeting the needs of all students.
