Key Responsibilities
· Design and oversee the construction of marine vessel structures.
· Ensure that designs meet required safety standards, environmental regulations, and customer specifications.
· Inspect marine vessels and structures to ensure they are seaworthy and in compliance with regulations.
· Manage tank projects on cruise vessels from inspection and survey, through to delivery and sign-off.
· Help develop the company's tank inspection and survey capabilities into a world-class service.
· Select the right workforce, tools, and materials to deliver projects on time and within budget.
· Strengthen the tank team's skills and qualifications in repair, cleaning and coatings.
· Work towards offering clients a full turnkey tank solution.
· Build strong client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
· Oversee structural work during dry-dockings and refits.
· Stay up to date with advancements in marine technology and regulations.
Skills & Experience
· Strong knowledge of ship structures, tanks, and steelwork.
· Hands-on experience working on large vessels in a technical role.
· Proven ability to develop technical systems and introduce new engineering services.
· Experience with ship or tank surveys is an advantage.
Qualifications
· Candidates ideally with 1 to 3 years of experience may have worked in roles such as Naval Architect, Marine Engineer or Deck Officer.
· Degree, Foundation Degree, HND, or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture preferred.
