Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are proud to be supporting a highly regarded law firm in their search for a talented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their established team based in Gravesend.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional, friendly and supportive environment, where you’ll play a key role in providing essential support to the busy Conveyancing department.
Day to day, you’ll be:
Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and contracts
Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
Handling incoming calls, emails and post on behalf of fee earners
Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT forms
Maintaining accurate filing systems, both paper and electronic
Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and other third parties professionally and efficiently
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within conveyancing
Strong typing and IT skills, with excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
A confident, professional manner with excellent communication skills
A proactive, “can do” approach and team player attitude
