Role Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join our team and be a visible presence in our neighbourhoods. This role involves building strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service.
As a Housing Officer, you will work closely with our customers, ensuring they feel supported and valued. You will be out in the community, visiting customers and attending local events to foster trust and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage with the community: Be a visible and approachable presence, attending community events and meeting customers regularly.
2. Customer-focused service: Provide personalized support, ensuring needs are met and voices are heard.
3. Tenancy and neighbourhood management: Maximize rent and void recovery, manage lower-level anti-social behaviour cases, and ensure tenancy sustainment with a customer focus.
4. Collaborate with partners: Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive services.
5. Estate inspections: Conduct regular estate and fire safety inspections to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Housing Officer, with a strong track record in housing management.
* Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to support residents.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude towards challenges.
* Effective organizational skills to manage community engagement and administrative tasks.
