Domestic Considerations: Core working hours are 0830 until 1630 Mon-Fri. This role potentially demands time out of station to support fielding activities - up to 30 Nights Out Of Bed (NOOB), hence Limitied Commitment. There is the possibility of SLA being available in station (St George's Bks). Position Role: As part of the Fielding Management Team the Fielding Support Section Member works as part of a Military and Civil Servant team that manages the fielding of all equipment delivered under projects controlled by Tactical Systems Service Executive (TacSys SE). Due to the nature of the role, reliability and accuracy is key. Responsibilities: 1. Receive, receipt, and conduct quality checks on delivered equipment, ensuring accurate accounting and proper storage within inventory locations. 2. Perform stocktaking, inventory movement, and manual accounting to support electronic records on MOD systems (e.g., MJDI). 3. Select, prepare, and dispatch items for customer orders, including quality checks, palletisation, wrapping, and updating stock management systems. 4. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) while adhering to risk assessments and procedures. 5. Store and manage goods, including hazardous materials and chemicals, in compliance with relevant documentation, Risk Assessments, and COSHH guidelines. 6. Support UK-based deliveries as a driver or passenger using MOD hire vehicles. 7. Conduct general driving and delivery duties as required. 8. Undertake other fielding tasks as directed by the FMT chain of command.
