We are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Loughborough with the appointment of a Shift Engineering Team Leader.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a small team of engineers to ensure plant performance, reliability, and safety. You will:
* Lead, mentor, and develop engineers within the maintenance team
* Deliver preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise output
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
* Drive improvements in OEE through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across site
What We're Looking For
* Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (minimum Level 3)
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
* Experience within industrial/manufacturing plant maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
* Commitment to safety, reliability, and performance
