About the Role:
New Directions Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the Salford area. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are looking for flexible work to fit around other commitments, or for newly qualified teachers eager to gain experience across different settings.
As a Supply Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils in achieving their learning goals. You’ll have the opportunity to teach across a variety of schools, year groups, and subjects – making every day different and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pre-prepared lessons or plan and deliver your own engaging sessions
2. Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
3. Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and assessment
4. Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
5. Provide feedback on pupil progress and lesson outcomes
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Recent teaching experience within the UK curriculum
8. Strong classroom management and communication skills
9. A flexible and adaptable approach to work
10. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
