Job Description
We are currently looking for a talented Safety, Health, and Environment Coordinator to join our team at Westerleigh, Supporting the site SHE manager to ensure the site is compliant and adhering to company policies, procedures, initiatives, and statutory legislation, whilst developing and maintaining good employee relations. In addition, actively drive company initiatives, supporting the SHE Manager with projects, as necessary.
Shift pattern:
08:00am – 16:00pm, may require occasional flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct monthly first aid audits to ensure correct management of first aid boxes and defibrillators battery checks are undertaken and record findings
2. Accurately maintain the site accident and Employers Liability claims databases
3. Maintain a SHE Document register
4. Ensure site is adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and best practice at all times
5. Works collaboratively to develop a department that is respected by all
6. Assist the SHE Manager to produce and submit monthly site KPI report, highlighting KPI compliance [RAG] and trends including commentary on recommendations for improvement.
