Are you a natural leader who thrives on being out in the field with your team, coaching, motivating, and driving results? This role gives you the chance to take charge of a large, high-potential territory stretching from Oxford down to the Kent coast (excluding London).
Our client is a fast-growth UK business (part of a £1.25bn group) already supporting over 130,000 SME sites with essential services: energy, water, telecoms, card payments, and EV charging. They’re now looking for an Area Manager to lead and inspire their Account Managers across the South East and South Coast.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading a team of 6–10 Account Managers across Oxford, Kent, and the South Coast
* Coaching in the field, joining your team on visits, demonstrating best practice, and building capability
* Embedding a customer-first sales culture with clear goals and accountability
* Managing pipeline activity, reporting, and forecasting to ensure regional success
Who you are
* A proven B2B sales manager with 3+ years’ experience leading field sales teams
* Strong background in face-to-face sales (utilities, FMCG, telecoms, consumer goods, B2B solutions etc.)
* A coach at heart: pragmatic, motivational, and data-driven
* Commercially sharp with excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* Based in the South East or South Coast (outside London), with flexibility to cover the full patch daily
