Sugar Cane Salon is seeking a talented and passionate Nail Artist to join our team on a residency basis, exclusively on Mondays. Salon Opening Times for Monday: 10am - 7pm
Duties
* Providing professional nail artistry services, including manicures, pedicures, and intricate nail designs
* Applying makeup as requested by clients to complement their overall look
* Ensuring all tools and workstations are kept clean, sterilised, and organised in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Offering excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
* Consulting with clients to understand their preferences and advising on suitable nail colours, designs, and treatments
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current trends and techniques in nail art and beauty services
* Managing appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and salon productivity
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Nail Artist or similar role within a salon or beauty environment
* Strong skills in makeup application and nail artistry
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
* Fluency in English is essential for clear consultation and customer service delivery
* A friendly, professional demeanour with a keen eye for detail and creativity
* Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety standards
* Previous experience in customer service roles is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
