The firm is known for its structured and hands‑on training approach, with close partner involvement and access to a broad range of chemical and life sciences matters. You will work with a diverse client base, including innovative start‑ups, established SMEs and multinational organisations.
Your role will involve:
* Drafting and prosecuting UK, EP and international patent applications
* Working closely with senior attorneys on complex chemical and life sciences inventions
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Advising clients on patentability, infringement and freedom‑to‑operate issues
* Supporting trainees and junior colleagues where appropriate
About You
* Part-qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney
* Strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related discipline
* Currently working in private practice or an in‑house IP team
* Motivated, commercially aware, and keen to progress towards qualification
