Consultant level Cardiology position with a chance to join a multidisciplinary team in a sought-after location. The department has expanded steadily and in 2018 was commissioned as the second most complex cardiac device centre in the region. The well-established cardiology unit offers the opportunity to develop and deliver state-of-the-art cardiology services in a tailor-made cardiology suite, including a purpose-built catheterisation/pacing laboratory. Situated within easy access of transport links and major urban centres, this picturesque location is ideal. Housing in the area is plentiful and of good value, and there are several outstanding schools nearby.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver state-of-the-art cardiology services in a tailor-made cardiology suite including a purpose-built catheterisation/pacing laboratory.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting.
* Contribute to the expansion of the department and to the development of cardiac sub-specialties as encouraged by the Trust.
Qualifications and requirements
* Full GMC registration is essential to be considered.
