Job Advert We’re looking for an Office Operations Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the estate office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team at Bolton Abbey, supporting operations across a unique historic estate. About the role You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the estate office, coordinating communication, processes and administrative activity. Working closely with the Estate Manager and wider teams, you’ll help ensure day-to-day operations are organised, efficient and aligned with business priorities. You’ll manage office communications, acting as a central point of contact for enquiries, and provide high-level administrative and PA support, including diary, meeting and travel coordination. You will maintain accurate records, filing systems and databases, while overseeing reception, office supplies and internal processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. The role also includes supporting cross-team communication and managing operational responsibilities such as the office vehicle fleet, key control and contractor access. You will act as Fire Warden and support health and safety compliance. In addition, you’ll contribute to digital activity, including website updates, and act as a Microsoft 365 champion. This is a 12-month fixed-term, office-based role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break). About you We’re looking for someone with strong administrative and organisational experience who can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll be a confident communicator, comfortable handling a wide range of enquiries and building effective working relationships across teams. You should have experience managing office systems, processes and documentation, along with strong digital skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365. The ability to work proactively, identify improvements and solve problems efficiently is key. You’ll be highly organised, reliable and able to maintain performance in a busy environment, balancing competing demands while delivering consistently high standards of work. A professional and approachable manner is essential when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. A full UK driving licence is required.
