Start your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best. We are looking for a Radiology Administrator to support our busy Radiology department. This post is available as part-time (22.5hrs) position. The department is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, with the team working on a rota basis. Hours will be work over the week as needed. You'll also need a caring nature and the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. Here, you'll be part of delivering a high quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload. As a Radiology Administrator: Your role will require you to facilitate Radiology bookings for all imaging modalities. You will be required to liaise with consultants and their secretaries, as well as any other stakeholders such as members of the Outpatient team and other departments within the hospital. You will need to communicate effectively with patients and deal with their enquiries in a professional and caring manner. You will be responsible for sending out patient information regarding appointments and results. You will need to manage, appraise, and interpret data, information and situations. This will include handling all enquiries efficiently and effectively and escalating where necessary, ensuring all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
