Key Responsibilities of a PE Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages. Inspire students through a wide range of sports and physical activities. Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Track and evaluate student progress, offering clear feedback and tailored support. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and extracurricular activities. Requirements for PE Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching PE at secondary level. Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and a genuine passion for sports and physical education. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
