We’re looking for Clinical Support Workers to join our forensic mental health inpatient ward areas including Wakefield and Doncaster. These are full‑time roles (37.5 hours per week), working with adults who need support during a difficult time in their lives. This job is about being present, listening, and helping people feel safe, respected, and supported in their recovery. You’ll work alongside nurses, doctors, occupational therapists and social workers, and you’ll never be expected to do this alone.

Qualifications: Candidates must be able to evidence a relevant accredited Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent). We are aware of an increase in online short‑course certifications being presented as equivalent to NVQ Level 2/3; however, these courses often lack the required depth, breadth, and clinical competency standards of a formally accredited qualification and will not be accepted.
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship: Visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route can only be considered where the pro‑rated salary meets the minimum threshold of £25,000, as required by UK Visas and Immigration. For Band 3 roles, only full‑time positions at the top of the pay scale meet this requirement. Candidates will only be considered for sponsorship where they have a minimum of two years recognisable service experience, and sponsorship may not be possible depending on salary increment placement and contracted working hours.
