As a Head Chef, you will manage the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals tailored to Residents' preferences, including cultural and dietary needs. Your responsibilities include managing food stock, optimizing budgets, and liaising with support teams to ensure nutrition standards are met—all with Resident wellbeing as the priority.
Qualifications required include an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. We seek candidates with positive energy, strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, recipe-following precision, and a considerate, kind approach when communicating.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff must attend safeguarding training and be prepared to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
