Overview
Maintenance role in a prestigious manufacturer with operations across the globe. This position leads the maintenance team and steps from Engineer into a managerial role, taking the Senior Maintenance Engineer off the tools and into team leadership.
Responsibilities
* Foresee that all activities needed to maintain equipment are executed to a high quality, with a focus on preventive and predictive maintenance.
* Detect deviations in plant asset performance in time.
* Ensure safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance daily, through detailed job preparation with the area Engineer.
* Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardization.
* Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled tours to detect anomalies.
* Provide support to Maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
* Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting upon supplier arrival or at the warehouse.
* Coordinate contractors' scheduled jobs and monitor the quality of tasks carried out.
* Use predictive maintenance techniques when appropriate for equipment and component management.
* Review and analyse plant information (SAP, Shift Reports, Alarm Systems).
* Provide detailed work orders to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution.
* Keep asset documents and drawings updated and organized in the required locations; update information available online as needed.
* Support Engineering and Production teams with work plans to achieve high efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Degree qualified or highly proactive and experienced Maintenance/Team Leader.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting tools.
* In-depth knowledge and experience with current plant equipment.
* Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance.
* Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments.
* Ability to work under pressure and find solutions quickly.
