A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Assistant to join a successful Civil Engineering contractor delivering construction work on behalf of South West Water. My client is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Commercial Assistant to join their team in Exeter on a 5-year framework with South West Water.
As a key part of our client’s commercial team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring financial and contractual efficiency across a wide range of water infrastructure schemes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a dynamic sector, working alongside experienced professionals who are shaping the future of the region’s critical water services.
As Commercial Assistant you will:
* Working within a welcoming commercial team, supporting Quantity Surveyors in distributing and processing information.
* Process invoices and timesheets onto internal systems
* Assist with processing subcontractor payments.
* Enter job costs onto database.
* Clear Good Received Notes from internal systems.
Our client requires a Commercial Assistant with:
* Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar position for a construction/civils contractor.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
* Organised and structured approach to work.
* Experience of working with ordering and costing systems.
Salary/Benefits:
* £25,000 - £30,000pa
