The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you’ll help pupils transition confidently into Key Stage 2, building on their foundational skills and encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You’ll create engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exciting and well-balanced curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that bring the Key Stage 2 curriculum to life.
2. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all abilities within the class.
3. Assess, track, and record pupil progress accurately to inform planning.
4. Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
5. Work closely with teaching assistants, year group colleagues, and parents to ensure strong progress and wellbeing.
6. Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and shared initiatives.
About You
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within primary education.
8. A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
9. A creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
11. Committed to continuous professional development and high standards of teaching.
