Demand Planner - Home - Part Time - 2 Days Per Week

We have a great opportunity here at Tesco for a Demand Planner to join a successful team! You will be responsible for ensuring product availability, stock holding, and quality across the Home section by planning and executing the flow of stock from suppliers to stores. This role involves working with suppliers worldwide and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
Role Responsibilities
* Producing and analyzing stock and availability reports, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Providing forecasts for short, medium, and long-term planning and sharing with stakeholders.
* Reviewing supplier failed deliveries and short arrivals daily.
* Coordinating with suppliers to ensure optimal stock placement and timing.
* Creating intake and allocation plans for promotions, events, and product range changes to maximize availability and manage clearance stock.
* Collaborating with Category & Supply Chain teams to execute the trade plan, including in-season activities.
* Monitoring sales, stock, and margin relationships, and assessing current performance.
* Understanding and supporting the WSSI process with relevant data.
* Working with stakeholders to identify potential issues and develop solutions, including maintaining the 'Mind the Gaps' commentary.
* Participating in reviews to capture learnings and suggest improvements.
* Producing demand forecasts for goods out activities to inform distribution planning.
* Adhering to Tesco's Business Code of Conduct with integrity and due diligence.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in Supply Chain or Merchandising roles.
* Experience working with suppliers.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of forecasting and stock management.
* Data analysis skills and a customer-focused approach.
