Snr Associate Salary (dependent on experience but in the region of £190,000 - £220,000 pa)
Our client is seeking both a Senior Associate to join the London-based Energy team within the Construction & Projects area (strong Renewables exposure highly desired).
Combining sector experience with global focus to provide strategic advice to clients operating in dynamic/emerging markets.
Role sits in the Construction & Projects area – focusing on renewable power, low-carbon fuels and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Client relationship management
Business development initiatives
Mentor/develop junior team members
Lead drafting/ negotiation of project, construction and finance documentation
Managing transactions/ supervising junior lawyers
Advice to clients on risk allocation, structuring and execution of projects
Work closely with partners on practice development
Experience:
PQE experience (or equivalent) projects, construction, energy, infra
Experience in the energy, climate finance, carbon/natural capital areas
Business development
Technical legal expertise with experience leading complex transactions
Supervise junior lawyers
Solid drafting, analytical and communication skills
