Manufacturing Engineer
Hands-on manufacturing role focused on improving how products are built on the shop floor.
This position sits within a production engineering environment and is centred on continuous improvement, process development and supporting production teams day to day.
What you’ll be doing

Leading and coordinating continuous improvement activity across the shop floor

Improving layouts, workflows, routing and work instructions
*
Supporting root cause, non-conformance and 8D investigations
*
Managing and maintaining production process documentation
*
Supporting design engineering with new processes and products
*
Training and upskilling production staff on new processes and standards
*
Supporting production builds, first-offs and tooling improvements
*
Applying Lean and 5S tools to improve efficiency and consistency
The role is primarily site-based with occasional UK travel.
What this will suit
You’ll come from a manufacturing or production engineering background and be comfortable working directly with operators, supervisors and engineers.
