Description We are looking for a talented IT Support Associate to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for Cummins in Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Will work with the Enterprise Platform teams to support local site workload activities. Will work with the IT Operations teams to coordinate and support developments and changes required at the local site, including downtime requirements and management through the IT ticketing system. Will engage with Enterprise Platforms IT Manufacturing team members to as part of the review process for incident issues. Will collaborate with the plant staff to build relationships and foster open communication with Enterprise Platforms and ensure all devices on site at used in accordance with Enterprise platforms best practices. Will assist in MDaaS Stock management and business forecasting to ensure break fix stock is maintained on business requirements can be met. Will assist in identifying, designing and implementing business and IT solutions. Will work with the Enterprise Platforms IT Manufacturing team members to support global technical initiatives and projects shared by the Enterprise Platforms IT Manufacturing Projects team at the local site. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Windows XP through 11, and server 2008 through 2022 Familiarity with Active directory, Group Policy, antivirus systems, and basic windows security settings. Hold a basic understanding of network infrastructure including TCP/IP, switching, and common network devices. Technical aptitude using standard IT software including MS OFFICE, Telnet/putty, remote desktop, SCCM and Cummins tools. Qualifications Education/ Experience: High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience (to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations) required. Associate Degree, relevant industry training, certification or equivalent experience preferred. Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
