Remuneration: £32,000-£35,000

The role of the Estimator Laboratory Furniture will involve:
Estimator position dealing with main a high end manufactured range of laboratory furniture such as: ward furniture, hygiene stations, worktops, surfaces, taps, benches, desks, shelving and teaching stations
Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Perform accurate take-offs using Excel to quantify materials and components.
Develop detailed schedules and pricing documents for tender submissions.
Liaise with internal teams (design, production, and project management) to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
Obtain prices for items through the procurement team.
Attend meetings with main contractors to discuss scope, pricing, and project requirements.
Problem-solving skills in cost reduction and value engineering to support the Main Contractor.
Maintain and update pricing databases and estimation templates.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Laboratory Furniture with:
Must have 2+ years of estimating experience within construction or manufacturing environment
Ideally willhave experience in the furniture, fit out, FF&E or related interiors market sector
Experience with ward furniture, hygiene stations, worktops, surfaces, taps, benches, desks, shelving and teaching stations would be highly advantageous
Extensive Excel experience
Comfortable reading architectural drawings
