We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Analysis Team Lead to support the Head of Business Analysis in leading a team of Business Analysts within a growing technology organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects, coaching and mentoring analysts, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality business analysis across the team. This is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be comfortable commuting to our Birmingham office at least two days per week, with occasional national travel to meet clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Business Analysts across multiple projects, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outputs.
* Support the Head of Business Analysis in implementing strategic initiatives and evolving BA practices.
* Act as a delivery lead for key projects, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
* Coach and mentor Business Analysts, providing guidance on tools, techniques, and stakeholder engagement.
* Promote collaboration across teams and departments to ensure seamless delivery and shared understanding.
* Monitor team performance, identify development needs, and support career progression.
* Ensure documentation, requirements gathering, and process modelling meet internal standards and client expectations.
* Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and excellence within the team.
* Champion the CARES values in all aspects of leadership and delivery.
Key Tasks
* Support the achievement of team utilisation, delivery KPIs, and customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality outputs and proactive issue resolution.
* Collaborate with the Head of BA and Resource Management to align team capacity with project pipeline and delivery needs.
* Contribute to the execution of the BA practice strategy by embedding consistent standards, tools, and techniques across the team.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging participation in training, mentoring junior analysts, and sharing best practices.
* Assist in pre-sales activities by providing input into scoping, estimation, and showcasing the value of Business Analysis and TXP capabilities.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
* Ensure team members follow all procedures related to data confidentiality, integrity, and operational security.
* Support recruitment efforts by identifying team needs, participating in interviews, and helping maintain a strong pipeline of BA talent.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Team Lead in a technology consultancy.
* Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
* Experience collaborating with Sales and Pre-Sales teams, supporting bid responses and shaping solution design.
* Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team of analysts.
* Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and business process modelling.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to delivery.
