We are on the lookout for a passionate and driven Full Time Referrals Officer to join our inspiring and friendly team. Your role will be pivotal in developing and promoting fostering services across Cymru South. Our Bridgend office supports a hybrid working model, offering you the flexibility to work from home.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage referrals from local authorities, ensuring placements are matched to children's needs.
* Utilize your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
* Act as the first point of contact between local authorities, foster families, and social workers.
* Build positive relationships through effective communication, both written and face-to-face.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong communication skills and the ability to develop relationships.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
* A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.
* Experience in the children's services sector is a plus, but not essential.
