Interim Financial Accountant (Statutory & Treasury)
Location: Bath (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: Until June 2026
Day Rate: £375-£450 per day (via Umbrella)
FTC Equivalent: £70,000-£80,000 pro rata

They are seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to take ownership of statutory reporting, audit and treasury - ensuring accuracy, compliance and resilience in a complex environment.
What you'll do:
1. Deliver statutory accounts, audits and regulatory submissions, working to the highest standards of integrity.
2. Oversee treasury and cash flow management, supporting investment and liquidity decisions across a diverse portfolio.
3. Strengthen financial controls and compliance frameworks.
4. Provide technical accounting expertise to support decision-making and reporting.
5. Contribute to integrated thinking - aligning financial reporting with the organisation's wider environmental and social responsibilities.
What you bring:
6. A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
7. Proven track record in financial accounting, statutory reporting and audit.
8. Treasury management experience, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
9. A detail-oriented mindset combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
10. Motivation to work within an organisation that values accountability and sustainability.
