Role Description
This is a self employed role for a Massage Therapist based in Guildford. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing various types of massage therapy to clients, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massages. The Therapist will work with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work environment, scheduling client appointments, and staying updated with the latest techniques and trends in massage therapy. This is an on-site role based in Guildford.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone)
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Professional licensure or certification in massage therapy
* Experience in customer service is a plus
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Familiarity with scheduling and booking software
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
