Responsibilities
* Carry out fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and provide rapid response to breakdown situations.
* Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks according to the plant schedule.
* Undertake Engineering Planned Maintenance activities within the Department.
* Ensure that safe working conditions are always maintained in conjunction with company 6s and Risk Assessment policies.
* Assist with the improvement methods of reducing plant downtime and increasing plant efficiencies.
Requirements
* Formally recognised engineering qualifications and an apprenticeship.
* Mechanically biased, with a multiskilled background.
* Flexibility to work on a variety of shift patterns.
* Manufacturing experience.
