Cloud Software Architect
Anson McCade is partnering with a world leading IT Infrastructure provider as they seek to appoint an experienced Cloud Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive technical strategies, shape architecture frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions
Key Responsibilities:
* Architect, design, and implement cloud-native applications using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
* Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to engineering teams.
* Ensure performance, scalability, and security across all cloud solutions.
* Drive continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using Agile and DevOps practices.
* Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for software design.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and align architectural decisions with business goals.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud software architecture and development.
* Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native services.
* Expertise in microservices architecture, containerisation, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, and Python.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
* Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and design patterns.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
* Experience with front-end technologies, such as React.
* Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
* Knowledge of Agile project management tools.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
