Job title: Mental Healthcare Assistant - Night Shifts
Location: Chester
Salary: £18 - £24 P/H
The role
* Assist patients with daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Aid in patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
* Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
* Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
* Help maintain a clean and organised patient environment, including changing linens and tidying rooms
* Provide emotional support to patients and families, offering companionship and empathy
* Assist with basic medical procedures, such as wound dressing changes and catheter care
* Transport patients within the facility for tests, procedures, or appointments
* Document patient information and report changes in condition to nursing staff
* Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient healthcare operations
