The Role
Join our established procurement team, playing a vital role in shaping our procurement strategy and New Product Introduction (NPI). This position offers you the chance to collaborate across departments to achieve seamless procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality raw materials and components, with a focus on negotiating contracts.
2. Risk Mitigation: Proactively address material price fluctuations and minimise risks related to shortages.
3. Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
4. Contract Negotiation: Manage and negotiate contract terms, including pricing.
5. Supplier Sourcing: Identify and onboard new suppliers as needed.
6. Project Management: Take ownership of procurement-related projects.

About You
1. MCIPS or CIPS level 4 qualified.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing or automotive industries, with UK based experience.
3. Previous experience in sourcing materials such as Cast Iron, Aluminium Die Cast, PCB’s, Control knobs, cardboard and packaging.
4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
