Damira Dental Studios, a leading provider of high‑quality dental care across the UK, invites applications for the Apprentice Dental Nurse role.
Established in 2003, the practice has expanded to 33 locations throughout Berkshire, Bournemouth, Greater London, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Isle‑of‑Wight, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Surrey and Oxfordshire.
Role Overview
The position is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide through blended e‑learning. On successful completion, the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and reliable chair‑side support to Practice Clinicians.
* Work within the reception area: dealing with patient queries, answering the phone, taking payments and booking appointments.
* Assist with administrative duties and support the smooth running of the practice.
Working Hours
5 days out of 7 with weekends included. Standard hours are Monday to Sunday: 08:00 – 20:00 (Monday‑Friday), 09:00 – 17:00 (Saturday‑Sunday).
Qualifications & Requirements
* Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing (City & Guilds). Functional Skills English & Maths Level 2 unless already exempt.
* Willingness to undertake blended training and complete a national curriculum.
* Strong communication, customer‑service and time‑management skills.
Career Path
With experience, graduates may progress to roles such as team manager, team leader or dental practice manager. Further training can lead to positions as a dental therapist, dental hygienist or orthodontic therapist.
